Production Blog 1

Hi there, welcome back to the blog. So this is the first of three production blogs. On Wednesday October 5th, my group was not able to meet. I had originally planned with my group to film the video on this day. I also wasn't able to film any day before that. Kazmin has football practice everyday after school. His practice is from after school to 7:00pm and by then the sun is already down and it wouldn't be able to work. Sofia had volleyball from after school till about 4:00 but she doesn't usually make it home until 5:00pm. My group also all lives quite far from each other. Sofia lives in Hollywood and Kaz, Jenna and I all live more North in Fort Lauderdale. The groups schedules just collided and filming just didn't work out that week. I personally wasn't able to film because i had a little family incident to attend to. That weekend and the week before was also a strange week to meet. Hurricane Ian came the week before October 5th. My group had school off for 2 days so i couldn't meet to discuss the project in person. Then after the hurricane, that weekend my group still couldn't meet because I had cleanup from the hurricane and things were still calming down. The day my group and i were going to meet,which was October 5th, Sofia, Kazmin, and Jenna talked about what we were going to be doing when i met up. I was told they planned where everyone was going to meet. while i was gone my group talked about what the plan was for who would do what. I was not able to be on that Facetime call due to my family issue.

Hey, welcome back to the blog! Kaz and the girls were finally able to film! It was a pretty sunny day and it was right before my group went on vacation for spring break. Jenna picked me up at from my house in the morning with Sof in the car. She brought her friend Amelia to help with filming as well. There were also more friends that met us at the location so the filming process could go smoother and there would be more actors in this opening sequence. Once Jenna picked me up, she drove to Hollywood to pick Kaz up. Jenna was circling Hollywood circle in her car for like 10 minutes waiting to find Kaz. It felt like a wild goose chase for him. After picking up Kaz, Jenna drove around Hollywood beach looking for the location. When my group got there, Jenna parked and all of us walked around the location of the abandoned mall. Getting to know Sav- Intro Blog

Hey, long time no see, It is Savannah Diaz back at blogging again. The commercial and music video was quite a journey, but the time spent was so much fun. I learned so much from that experience, and my group was the best to work with. Now, it's time for the final task and I can't lie, I am a little nervous, but I know It will be so much fun and so great. This class so far has been really fun, and has allowed me to expand on the subjects I am interested in. Ever since I can remember, I've loved the idea of the movie industry in Hollywood, California. I've loved the lights, cameras, and movies. I was excited for this class because I knew it would help me progress in film skills. I love the idea of how each camera angle has a meaning in the filming process. I also love how transformative filming can be in the aspect of how it can mirror many people's lives. The girls group

 Blogger i am sad to inform you that Kaz and the girls have broken up. But... it is okay we're still friends we are just in different classes this year and it made more sense to do this with other people. I will miss them but i am excited to tell you about my new group i have picked. Now to tell you about my new group. This group consists of Brianna, Isabella, Lauren and I. First we have Brianna, who i have known since the first day of high school. She is on the most reliable people i have ever met. Brianna i know is going to contribute a lot to the group and i am so excited to work with her. Brianna also tells me she loves editing titles and design. Isabella or Isa as we call her is my next group member. I became close with Isa this year and I am so grateful to have because she is such a supportive friend and hype-women.
