 Last blog i talked about the prep before actually filming. Where I left off was when my group and i were exploring. After finding the perfect spots to film I got out the storyboard. The first scene took place outside of the abandoned mall. I grabbed my selfie camera stick with a ring light. Jenna used it in the first scene because the scene was her ‘filming’ a youtube video intro for the ‘challenge’ in the video. Next we were trying to find the best spots for the next couple scenes there was this weird area where there used to be a little pond looking thing. It luckily had no water in it, it was drained out from years ago. There was also a couple escalators in between the old pond that looked creepy. In the one of the scenes we filmed in front of an old mall kiosk. Jenna had to scream for one of the scenes so the downstairs area had the perfect echo. That worked out really well. Hey, welcome back to the blog! Kaz and the girls were finally able to film! It was a pretty sunny day and it was right before my group went on vacation for spring break. Jenna picked me up at from my house in the morning with Sof in the car. She brought her friend Amelia to help with filming as well. There were also more friends that met us at the location so the filming process could go smoother and there would be more actors in this opening sequence. Once Jenna picked me up, she drove to Hollywood to pick Kaz up. Jenna was circling Hollywood circle in her car for like 10 minutes waiting to find Kaz. It felt like a wild goose chase for him. After picking up Kaz, Jenna drove around Hollywood beach looking for the location. When my group got there, Jenna parked and all of us walked around the location of the abandoned mall. I first had Emilia film the opening shot off all of us in front of the location. It was so creepy looking. Part of it is abandoned but part of it it kind of occupie

Welcome back to the blog! As of today, all of the planning for the blog is all done and my group is ready to start filming. My group is filming on Sunday and i am so excited. As I mentioned, the location is an abandoned location so as to make the plot even scarier for this movie opening. Today is my grandmas birthday so i could unfortunately not film. She turned 75 today and I went to a little celebration for her. It was at my aunts house and it was a nice family outing. It is also spring break and half of my group was busy. I am going to new jersey for spring break. I’m going to visit family for a bit. A couple weeks ago a family member passed and my family supposed to go up for a couple days but couldn’t. This trip is to visit my aunt and make sure she is doing well and keep her some company. My family is also having a little family reunion. My family lives in New Jersey so i am so excited to visit. I have so many cousins and i am so excited to see them. I haven’t seen them in so man

 Hey there blogger! Today is my birthday!!! So today was a big day to say the absolute least. Unfortunately i had to spend it in lockdown at school ALL day. But, at least everyone ended up safe. Today was not the day to film the opening sequence. I already had plans for my birthday so we weren't going to film anyway. It ended up being a busy day anyway. Today was probably one of the scariest days ever for me. Since we were on lockdown the whole day, i was freaking out over the situation for a while. But, after school my friends ended up coming with me and I went to this cute cafe called the alchemist. It had a super cute seating area with a "grafiti garden." It did end up brightening my day a lot.  I had avocado toast... my favorite, and an iced coffee. It was such a great birthday meal! Hi blogger, Sav's back again! So for today's blog, I will be talking about Kaz and the girls' group facetime call we had about planning further for the opening sequence. On the facetime call their were many things talked about. The first thing that was talked about was the storyboard blog. On the storyboard blog Jenna drew everything out while the rest of us brainstormed idea. What was also talked about was where we were going to film. Recently I learned about this place in Hollywood that was abandoned. It looked really cool and most movies i've seen where it takes place in abandoned spaces, it has turned out really cool. In the video, it is a goal to make the scenes look as real as possible. On the facetime call that was clarified and my group talked more about it. Next, it. was talked about what would happen if it were to rain. I put out the idea to go to the beach place on Ft. lauderdale beach. It by no means is abandoned but it can be creepy sometimes.  Hey guys! It's just Savannah here, back with another blog. For the past couple weeks, Sofia, Jenna, Kaz and I have been preparing for the final task. My group has put together a schedule that will hopefully be followed in the upcoming weeks. As of today, i have researched title designs, genres, and different opening sequences for this task. I have learned enough already to be confident in creating one. There is a lot going on what with the quarter ending soon in school and all. This week my group could not film because the planning was still happening. The storyboard was just completed so at least now there is a layout for the opening sequence. I am super excited to film. I have to be honest, i am really sad this is the last task because i had so much fun filming the commercial and the music video. First scene- Kazmin and the girls introducing Jenna’s YouTube channel and their YouTube video which is a 24 hour challenge in an abandoned facility. This will be from a high angle.
