1.How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues?   Our product uses technology and music conventions to show how air pods “transform you into your own world.” My group used a general person working out, jamming to music to show how impactful airpods really can be when you are doing physical activity. It represents the social group of people working out. My group also used workout clothes and a gym/gym equipment to show the group. An issue one may have is that they may feel unmotivated or embarrassed at the gym or exercising but airpods make it seem like you are the only person in the room. 2. How does your product engage with audiences AND how would it be distributed as a real media text?   The product uses technology and music as things that majority of people love to encourage them. It also is often used in an activity that a lot of people do, work out or go to the gym. The sound of the airpods gives a preview of what is to be ex

This video is Kazmin and the girls first production film. Beginning to end, filming this commercial was so much fun. From the facetimes planning our video to adding in Kazmin's British accent, we wouldn't change our process for a thing. Looking back at the whole process of the execution leading to this moment, we will definitely improve on upcoming projects, one being simplicity. lol. Nonetheless, for our first video, we smashed it. Hopefully, as the year goes by, Kazmin and the girls will make even greater films.

Editing- For editing, my job was the "cropper". Jenna came up with that name because i cropped everything in the video. First, I downloaded the software "imovie" onto my computer. I then imported the videos. I took a lot of takes while filming so when i originally added the clips, there were a lot of them. I had to re-watch the clips to see which ones I wanted to include in the video. Once i narrowed the clips down, there were six clips. I then had to crop the clips to be five second each. This would make the video exactly the amount of time it needed to be. Originally the clips were about 6-10 seconds long. In the beginning, the video was about 51 seconds in length. At the end of editing, it was 30 seconds long. After i had cropped the 6 clips in the video, i had to send each clip to my group. Jenna had to add transitions to each clip. Sofia had to import sound to the video. I then had to crop the sound. The song my group chose is called "I think we are alone

Filming-  On Saturday, October 8th, i filmed with my group. Sofia provided the meeting place of the gym in her community. This is where my group ended up filming our whole video. I was the videographer, so i filmed all of the commercial. In the beginning I went outside so Sofia, Jenna, and Kaz could practice their dance segment for the commercial. Sofia, Kaz and Jenna kept going in different directions with their dance moves. Finally, after a couple times practicing the group was coordinated. Sofia, Jenna, and Kazmin all brought colorful and black workout clothing to change into from scene to scene. Everyone had some sort of issue in the beginning because I had been told my group couldn't be loud in the gym because it would disturb people. After discussing the plan outside, so I wasn't to loud, I went back in to film. My group started out with the first scene which was Sofia, Jenna, and Kaz walking into the gym. This was tricky because i wasn't sure where to stand to film t

Hi there, welcome back to the blog. So this is the first of three production blogs. On Wednesday October 5th, my group was not able to meet. I had originally planned with my group to film the video on this day. I also wasn't able to film any day before that. Kazmin has football practice everyday after school. His practice is from after school to 7:00pm and by then the sun is already down and it wouldn't be able to work. Sofia had volleyball from after school till about 4:00 but she doesn't usually make it home until 5:00pm. My group also all lives quite far from each other. Sofia lives in Hollywood and Kaz, Jenna and I all live more North in Fort Lauderdale. The groups schedules just collided and filming just didn't work out that week. I personally wasn't able to film because i had a little family incident to attend to. That weekend and the week before was also a strange week to meet. Hurricane Ian came the week before October 5th. My group had school off for 2 days

First scene: Kazmin, Sofia, Jenna, and maybe Savannah will all walk into the gym. This shot will be a medium close-up for Kazmin and the girls will be a little further back, making it a medium shot for them. There will be no music in this shot only the natural sound effects like shoe noises, door opening noise, etc.   Second scene: Kazmin opens the Airpod pro case from his pocket and puts the AirPods in his ears. This shot will be taken at a medium shot displaying his side profile. This is when the music starts which demonstrates Kazmin falling into a dream of music from the AirPods. We will use this by Fading into his head with a black screen to show the audience that the next scenes will all be in his head. The sound effect of the case opening and the AirPods connecting will all be included. The music will be the same vibe as the commercial, fun and upbeat. In the background of all of this, you will see the girls working out.  Third scene: In Kazmins music dream world he hands the
