Filming-  On Saturday, October 8th, i filmed with my group. Sofia provided the meeting place of the gym in her community. This is where my group ended up filming our whole video. I was the videographer, so i filmed all of the commercial. In the beginning I went outside so Sofia, Jenna, and Kaz could practice their dance segment for the commercial. Sofia, Kaz and Jenna kept going in different directions with their dance moves. Finally, after a couple times practicing the group was coordinated. Sofia, Jenna, and Kazmin all brought colorful and black workout clothing to change into from scene to scene.  Hey guys, Kazmin and girls back at it again with the film. Our song is You Belong To Me by Taylor Swift. The genre of the song is teenage love or romance. Taylor Swift is very known for her love songs and she has a lot. Conventions in this genre usually have a love interest, either between and boy and girl or a girl and girl or a girl and boy. For most of Taylor's songs the love interest is between  a boy and a girl, the girl being Taylor, and she is in love with the guy. The videos also includes either love interest's lip syncing with all their emotions. They usually seem frustrated at their feelings like they can't have what they want. Another convention in the Love Story is the cross cutting editing. Scenes go from the love interests performing some action together to one of them lip ...

Watch the Titles Website

Image
Welcome back to Kazmin and the girls. For the second website we used we have Watch the Titles. Using this website to learn about title design is very easy. This website includes several title designs divided into different categories. One of these categories is student projects, which showcases students' work from all over the world. Another aspect of this website is the long list of designers, along with a brief description for each one. There are also several interviews with some of the designers. Not only does Watch the Titles have title designs for movies, they have title designs for tv shows. The website links title designs, designers, and studios all together. For example, when looking at a specific studio, the title designs filmed there and designers who worked there are shown. Overall, this website has a good structure and is very informative.                                  ...
