Finally in production!


 Hello, welcome back! It was production day(s) in the group of Kaz and the girls. My group was finally able to take time out of our busy schedules to film and boy did it take a while. My group had invited a couple friends over to film with us as "extras."  It was me, Jenna, Kaz, Sofia, Sabrina, Jackson, Emelia, Nick, and Hunter. I got to Jenna's house after working on Saturday 12/11 and it was time to film! The first scene I shot was a pan of Jenna playing the guitar in her room to open the songs intro. Emelia brought a little Ukulele because no one could bring a guitar. It was perfect because it was super cute and it matched Jenna's character's vibes, which was hippy/nerdy. The next scene shot was of Jenna being "on the phone" with me, and the two of us are arguing. It took a while to film mine because it had to be the perfect angle because later the two shots will be edited to be a split scene for effect. Next, the group had to film at Jenna's old Elementary school and Jenna and I are "arguing" again about something again. This is where it gets interesting; the scene for this was Sofia looking over at Jenna seeing us arguing. This scene was shot as a cross cut which cut over to Sofia. I had issues shooting this one because the light shining on Sofia was so yellow, but I was able to make it work. For the next scene, I created a fake instagram account for Jenna's character. This was super fun and I got creative. I added a couple pictures of arty things and a couple of Jenna playing Ukulele. I also added two pictures of Jenna and I's characters having fun. I got a couple of our friends to follow the account so it would look believable. Just like that Jenna had a finsta account. This led into filming the shot of Sofia "stalking" Jenna's instagram account because she noticed me being mean to Jenna. This shot was an over-the- shoulder shot and this part went pretty smoothly. Hey, welcome back to the blog! Kaz and the girls were finally able to film! It was a pretty sunny day and it was right before my group went on vacation for spring break. Jenna picked me up at from my house in the morning with Sof in the car. She brought her friend Amelia to help with filming as well. There were also more friends that met us at the location so the filming process could go smoother and there would be more actors in this opening sequence. Once Jenna picked me up, she drove to Hollywood to pick Kaz up. Jenna was circling Hollywood circle in her car for like 10 minutes waiting to find Kaz. It felt like a wild goose chase for him. After picking up Kaz, Jenna drove around Hollywood beach looking for the location. When my group got there, Jenna parked and all of us walked around the location of the abandoned mall. I first had Emilia film the opening shot off all of us in front of the location. It was so creepy looking. Part of it is abandoned but part of it it kind of occupie...

 Blogger i am sad to inform you that Kaz and the girls have broken up. But... it is okay we're still friends we are just in different classes this year and it made more sense to do this with other people. I will miss them but i am excited to tell you about my new group i have picked. Now to tell you about my new group. This group consists of Brianna, Isabella, Lauren and I. First we have Brianna, who i have known since the first day of high school. She is on the most reliable people i have ever met. Brianna i know is going to contribute a lot to the group and i am so excited to work with her. Brianna also tells me she loves editing titles and design. Isabella or Isa as we call her is my next group member. I became close with Isa this year and I am so grateful to have because she is such a supportive friend and hype-women. Getting to know Sav- Intro Blog

Hey, long time no see, It is Savannah Diaz back at blogging again. The commercial and music video was quite a journey, but the time spent was so much fun. I learned so much from that experience, and my group was the best to work with. Now, it's time for the final task and I can't lie, I am a little nervous, but I know It will be so much fun and so great. This class so far has been really fun, and has allowed me to expand on the subjects I am interested in. Ever since I can remember, I've loved the idea of the movie industry in Hollywood, California. I've loved the lights, cameras, and movies. I was excited for this class because I knew it would help me progress in film skills.
